SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization is asking residents to weigh in on how $2 billion in transportation investments should be prioritized.

This effort is part of a federally required planning process shaping transportation in the region through 2050. The MPO is looking at everything from traffic flow and safety to public transit and pedestrian needs.It’s not just about roads—it’s about quality of life, economic development, and community adaptability.
